Ramadaan naseeha :)

1)Ramadan is the month of Quran..so the first and foremost thing is to develop a relation with the Quran and reconnect with it
-Recite it regularly
-Learn some surahs of the Quran
-Read it with understanding
-Listen to talks about the quran
-Listen to tafseer
-whenever you memorise a surah,take it as a project,do its meaning,listen to its tafseer,apply it in your life,then move on to the next surah

2)In ramadan,the devils are chained,but are nafs is still there to deviate us, Fasting,Quran etc are the weapons to help us fight shaitaan..Starving our body and nafs helps us feed our Rooh..Ramadan is like a training programme, what we learn in this month is meant to help us in the next 11 months 

3)DONT waste food..Learn to show gratefulness for Allahs blessings.Those who dont value Allahs blessings,Allah takes that nemat away from them..Look at those who are living with the bare minimum means yet they are so grateful for every blessing, and we just throw away  leftovers because we can afford to do so,the true spirit of being grateful is to value every single morsel

4)Memorise Sunnah duas for daily activities such as entering and leaving the house, eating,changing clothes etc, the barkat will extend to your whole life beyond ramadan and will help you to remember Allah

5)Kick out activities of ghaflah such as video games,newspapers,TV,movies etc that just serve to waste your time,so that you can exert your energies in gaining the blessings of ramadan and maximising it

6)Fardh comes first, so don't pray so many taraveehs or sleep so late that you dont wake up for sehri and fajr
Remember:the one who prays Isha and Fajr,its like he remained in ibadah the whole night so you get sawaab for praying the whole night
- Dont undersleep in ramadan otherwise you will be sleeping during namaaz
-Prefer offering qaza namaaz to praying nawaafil as the sawaab of fardh is 70 fold and the sawaab of nafal is equal to one fardh

7)Ramadan is not the month of lavish aftaris and gaining weight, so dont spend all your energies in thinking about and eating aftaris, revive the sunnah:only fill 1/3rd of your stomach with food..and keep it simple..dont make the women of the house spend all their time in cooking food..and Don't spend the whole night eating and socializing
Remember roza taqwa ki base pe guzarta hai,khaanay peenay se nahi, so dont overindulge, imagine working out in a gym all day long and then eating a burger and heavy dessert, you just undid all your hard work !

8)Dont sleep during the day and pray all night. By doing this you are converting the day into night and the night into day, which is NOT the purpose of fasting.

9)Avoid being lazy and inactive during the day.
Make every minute count

10)Spend the last 10 days worshipping Allah rather than trying to prepare for Eid! A night that is better than a thousand months is in these last 10 nights. You can't afford to miss this.
Prophet s.a.w.w. did not sleep the last 10 nights, we should try to stay awake in at least the odd nights

11)Make lots and lots of dua,Ramadan is the month of acceptance and forgiveness. The gates of heaven are opened and the gates of hell are closed!

11)Give lots of sadaqah, the prophet s.a.w.w. used to give sadaqah with great urgency in this month

12)Husn e ikhlaaq, be the best in manners and deed, help others out, Do ehsaan

13)Dont miss sehri, there is great barakah in sehri, and secondly the time just before fajr is a time of qabuliyat of duas so dont miss out on this by eating at night and sleeping through sehri time

14)Do Aftaar quickly, preferably with fresh dates, if not then dry dates, if not then water(room temprature)
Allahumma inni laka sumtu, wa ala rizqika aftartu

15)Make a habit of using miswaak for sawab of sunnah

16)Aetakaaf of  last 10 days is a sunnah, if thats not possible then do it for 3 days or at least a day
Choose a small spot..if you do it in a big room you will be easily distracted, and secondly it will help remind you thaat your qabar will also be a very small place

17)Try to be part of taraveeh prayers, focus on quantity not quality,20 is sunnah, less than 20 rakaa is amount to nafal

18)Wear good clothes when making ibaadah, Dress up for Allah for a change, we Dress up for the creation all the time, its time we dress up for the creator

19)Make new habits of ibaadah that you're able to continue throughout the year, step up your ibaadah and try to improve upon your past performance

20)Dont just fast from food, fast from sins, Gunaahon se roza rakhna seekhain,within and outside of ramadaan

21)Increase your amal of sunnahs, both outward and inward sunnahs

22)Try to invite others to deen in this month because peoples hearts are softer in ramadaan
Remember log bhi achay hain aur Allah bhi bohat achay hain, bas dono ki aapis me dosti karaani hai

23)First 10 days are mercy, next 10 days are forgiveness,and last 10 days take us out of the fire of jahannum
so there are 3 types of believers:
1)one who comes to Ramadan with a clean glass,Allah will fill it with mercy
2)2nd is the one who brings a stained glass,Allah will clean the glass in the first 10 days and the next 10 days he will seek forgiveness for making the glass dirty
3)3rd is the one who tried to impress people and did deeds for show, his deeds were not solely for Allah, they were destined for hell, they will spend the first 20 days trying to do tawbah, then Allah will remove their names from the inhabitants of hell and write their names among the inhabitants of Jannah
